Treatment Approaches:
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
Have you ever felt like no matter how much you talk about something, it just doesn't seem to get better? That's often because some experiences don't just live in our thoughts — they get stored in our bodies and nervous systems in ways that keep us stuck, reactive, or emotionally overwhelmed long after the event has passed.
EMDR is a gentle, evidence-based therapy that goes beyond talk to help your brain do what it was actually designed to do — heal. Using a process called bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, EMDR helps your nervous system finally process and release memories and experiences that have been keeping you from moving forward.
Many people are surprised by how effective EMDR can be, even for experiences they've carried for years. It may be a good fit if you're navigating:
-
Complex Trauma & PTSD
-
Anxiety and panic attacks
-
Grief and loss
-
Phobias and distressing memories
-
First responders and veterans processing occupational trauma
You don't have to keep reliving the past. EMDR can help you find relief — and reclaim your life.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
At the heart of most relationship struggles — and many of our personal ones — is a simple but profound need: to feel safe, seen, and securely connected to the people who matter most to us. When that connection feels threatened or out of reach, we often fall into painful cycles of conflict, withdrawal, or emotional distance that can be hard to break on our own.
Emotionally Focused Therapy helps you understand and change those cycles. Rather than focusing on who is right or wrong, EFT gently explores the deeper emotions and attachment needs underneath the surface — the fear, the longing, the hurt that often drives our reactions. When those emotions are understood and expressed in new ways, real connection becomes possible again.
EFT is one of the most well-researched therapeutic approaches available, with decades of studies showing lasting improvements in relationship satisfaction and emotional well-being. It can be a powerful fit if you're experiencing:
-
Recurring conflict or emotional distance in your relationship
-
Difficulty expressing or regulating your emotions
-
Attachment wounds or fear of intimacy and vulnerability
-
A desire to build a deeper, more secure bond with your partner
-
Individual struggles with anxiety, depression, or self-worth
Whether you're coming as a couple or on your own, EFT offers a path toward relationships — with others and with yourself — that feel safe, connected, and fulfilling.
